SA PAKIKIPAGKAIBIGAN NAGSISIMULA ANG ISANG RELASYON - Sun

Scout Palabas battle of Lakans and Lakambinis captures intriguing questions about making smart decisions and choosing options wisely

Silang, Cavite, October 26 - Jux Lenox Sun (Grade 9) and Daphne Tuazon (Grade 7), the Night Camp Lakan and Lakambini 2017, both wowed the audience and the auxis (Grade 10 facilitators) in their brilliant answers during the question and answer portion of the Scout Palabas.
According to Sun, when asked of Mrs. Mary Lourd Santos to choose from pakikipagkaibigan (making friends) and pakikipagrelasyon (building relationship), he would opt for the former. “Mas pipiliin ko po ang pakikipagkaibigan dahil sa pakikipagkaibigan nagsisimula ang isang relasyon.” With that spontaneous answer, the crowd unanimously gave him a wild cheer.

On the other hand, Tuazon, the Lakambini representing Patrol T'boli was given a seemingly more thought-provoking question; that is, “If you would be given a chance to be a man, what would you like to discover in being a man?”

The crowd seated on a grassy site of Int’l Institute of Rural Reconstruction couldn’t just contain their astonishment upon hearing Tuazon’s last few words. The battle of the Lakans and the Lakambinis aims to unfold the richness of Miguelians’ ability to think critically and sensibly.
